Description

I found a cotton throw in a charity shop for a £1 and made a skirt, bag, head band and purse from it. The skirt is based on Butterick B4461 I scaled it up to size 26, lengthen it, made it more A-line and dropped the hem slightly at the sides to give an arc shape, I used black bias binding on hem, skirt is not lined. for bag and purse I just cut fabric rectangle and lining and used bias binding for edges.I left handles as 2 ties so i could wear it around my waist if i wanted.

What a wonderful way to use a cotton throw!! You have really made the most of the fabric.
