Midi skirts are SO in right now that I couldn’t resist buying this vintage pattern when I saw it in an antiques market in Sheffield a few weeks ago. I sewed up view 2 in the rest of the ex-designer flannel leftover from my Pinup Sheath dress.
I really fretted over the optimum hem length, but I think I cracked it here!

Looks gorgeous and feminine! I’m attending a pattern drafting class, and we’re in the skirt stage. Your skirt inspired me to draft myself a knock off! :-)

Thanks! I’m so flattered you want to draft your own! It should be a great project to get your feet wet. :)

Lovely skirt! I’ve got a wool circle skirt on the drawing/cutting table, it will be a midi too. Right after I finish my silk blouse. :)
