The comfortable oversized top includes a cowl neck, that can be worn a few different ways, raglan sleeves, and an asymmetrical hem with point pocket. (I lined the pocket, which the pattern did not call for.) I used some silver Guterman thread I had left over from my Holiday outfit, it worked beautifully. I used my narrow rolled hem foot for the top of the pocket, which worked great because the edges of this fabric have a natural roll. I used a slightly larger stitch (3) on the hems because I did not want the fabric to pucker or roll. Notes: I made the size large and used the XL collar because I love slouchy cowl necks. I used my overlock foot to serge all the inside seams. I added a horizontal pleat in the center of the pocket. more on my blog at http://bit.ly/A2frDd.
I made this top with lush grey velour I bought at F&S Fabrics in LA.
