My cousin recently came for a vist and I fell in love with her grey dress and lovely bejewelled shoes, I don’t often copy someone’s entire look (but my cousin did take it as a compliment) and lucky we are not often together during the day! I went and had a look at the Twist dress she had bought at the shop and it was R250! had a quick look at how my cousin’s dress was sewn, and made it for a tenth of the price – R25! it was simple with a big pleat in the middle and some pleats at the bottom to give it a gathered to one side look. Easy dress to wear when its hot, but the material does stretch in the wash very easily because it’s so light and thin and unfortunately the neck is a bit wider now.
