I made this back in Oct/Nov to wear as part of my costume for the Deathly Hallows release, but wanted to use quality materials since I knew I’d like to keep it as a staple in my wardrobe. The plaid, which has hints of blue, is slightly stretchy and heavy so it didn’t hold the pleats as well as I wanted it to. I used a basic lining fabric and trimed it with cotton eyelet.
This was my first “real” sewing project.

The eyelet is a really cute touch with the greyish fabric! Nice job!
