I used the Pete pattern to make a birthday present for my boyfriend.
I banded the edges and added hand-stitched appliques. I wanted a rougher look for the appliques so I left the edges unfinished and used a long running stitch. I also increased the width of the front/back body pattern pieces by 1cm.
Grey jersey that I found in the remnant bin, thrifted T-shirts for the appliques.
