This was definitely a never ending project. I made the whole skirt, and every detail twice, everytime there was something not working. It really drove me crazy. I hope the result is not that bad at all, I think I solved every mistake I did with my creation. To do the skirt I used an old pattern of Burda 2003 and then I modified it to obtain a pencil skirt. With this project I realize how patient I’ll have to be!
For the blue/red flower I used the fantastic Hana Kanzashi Tutorial :
cotton (skirt) – cotton (flower) – plastic red button
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
