This was a great pattern to use, though it was at least 1 size too big for me. I cut it out and sewed it up according to the pattern and measurements on the instructions, and then, after taking it in along the inner leg and crotch, it was still too big. Next time I will try to make these 2 sizes smaller then what the pattern recommends.
It is a comfy pattern though, and I would possibly raise the crotch or lower the waist to make it a hipster (high hipster) pair of pants.
grey stripey (with slight give in it) material I got out of a bargain bin, and bits from an old bedsheet for the contrasting pockets and inner/lining of the waist band.
