This is my first attempt on menswear. Unfortunately, my book for tailoring for men came a little too late, so I had to use the sloper technique for women sans the bust details. Fortunately, I have a willing dress form and a “victim” – my husband :), that I can pattern my adjustments from. It’s sort of military inspired. The coat has a hidden collar stand, shoulder and sleeve straps and side and right breast pockets, two part sleeves (upper and under sleeves). I’m not convinced on how I made the sleeve’s pattern though…I hope my next attempt on men’s wear would be better…
