This blouse was based on the Wenlan Blouse by Twinkle. I graded the pattern up a few sizes, elongated the yoke and drafted new sleeves for it. I Googled for yoked blouses to check out all of the sleeve variations, and was influenced by the white blouse.
If I was to make this variation again, I would distribute the gathers around more of the yoke, and not add as much extra fabric for gathers, as it makes the blouse seem very wide from the side.
Lightweight 100% cotton.

You have done a great job altering this pattern. I even like it better than the original!

Thank you for such kind words. This was my first upper body garment. I was always intimidated by my crazy measurements, and had stuck mostly to skirts. It was a lot of fun working out the details, and the reward was worth it: a well-fitting, and flattering blouse. I now feel ready to tackle a dress.
