I bought the fantastic Japanese pattern book “Cool Couture Remake” over a year ago, for the sole purpose of making the Flower Sleeve Blouse out of my favorite old sweatshirt. I have had this sweatshirt for more than 10 years, and its usable life was admittedly over. It took me a year to even work up the courage to cut into my dear old slouchy, and let’s not even go into trying to understand the Japanese instructions, but I’m happy with the result! This will be really nice when it cools off a titch.

this is so cute! I have so many things I could remake but scared to cut them up and ruin them.
