Finally made something only for myself – I tried a new bust cup design, which I sew from leather. All other parts, except the closure, are from cotton/wool blend fabric (not the best choice, but this was a bit of experiment too..)

Looks great! I have the exact same leather with eyelets strips that I attempted to use in the same manner 2 weeks ago, except the cheap eyelets all started popping out. =|

great work!! love it. Was it difficult to sew leather? i have fear only thinking abou it. do u have any suggestion for the beginners?

It’s quite a challenge to sew leather.. That is why I have two sewing machines (: To sew leather with any machine I suggest to put paper on both sides when sewing..then cut it off. the thinner paper is the better. But that would only work for thin leathers, for thicker ones there should be no problem if machine allows to sew thick materials!
