7/8 length trousers, Burda 7533. This is turning out to be a very handy pattern purchase for both daughters. Trousers had to be shortened quite a bit, if I had made them the normal length, they would have been full length on daughter no 1! I think I shortened the pattern by 10cm overall for her. Again, we didn’t use the gathered waistband detail, it certainly wouldn’t have worked on the stiff grey linen. It’s a great pair of trousers, and she has had many compliments at school as they form part of her 6th Form wardrobe.
