Description

My version of Kasia. The skirt is made of a grey twill fabric with fine blue, red and black stripes. The pockets are made from my boyfriend’s old work shirt. I left the buttons off and will add them if I feel it needs to look more interesting. More pictures on sew-creative-girl.blogspot.com. The fabric I picked kept shredding, luckily halfway through the project I got my overlocker back. Thank you for much for this free skirt pattern. I really enjoyed making it, and it fits well. I love how it makes me look really curvy. Love it.

Material Notes

blue shirting fabric.
grey twill fabric.

I wasn’t sure about the contrast colour when I saw the first picture, but seeing it on you, with those glorious shoes, I’ve changed my mind! Classy with some fun thrown in. Great work! Also, I’m with you on your decision to leave the buttons off. The pop of colour speaks volumes; buttons would be too much.
