Walk through the forest just as Spring begins to warm the ground beneath your feet and fresh leaves unfurl their new greeness to the world.
This jacket is made entirely from upcycled fabric and materials, specifically three pairs of pants, a T-shirt, and a reclaimed zipper, ready to begin life again as a springtime jacket.
upcycled cotton fabrics, upcycled zipper, thread

Your jacket is so impressive. Nice job! I love the term ‘upcycle.’ I have noticed it quite frequently on this site. I’m an environmental student and have never heard of it… maybe it’s because of where I’m from, but then again, you’re from North America too. I guess I’m just out of the loop?! haha

oh your interpretation of Alabama style is just great…I love the way its streamlined and organic without being overly floral…(plus i think you should get bonus points for the great up-cycle) …..favorite so far!!! :)
Btw did you use a pattern – love the shape of this garment.

Veeeery nice ! I love this jacket, and even more since it’s an upcycled project.

Awsome. When I get around to make a summer jacket I’ll definitely have a sneaky look at yours again…
