Description
This jacket is based on a pattern featured in Wendy Mullin’s “Built by Wendy: Coats and Jackets.” It has a floppy hood, raglan sleeves and pockets. I used wool and polyester without interlining. I wish I would have added some flannel to make it warmer. As is, it is warm enough for late fall/early winter. The pattern was simple and straightforward; however, I had to tweak the pattern quite a bit to make it fit and look the way I wanted. I ended up making two muslins before committing to cut the wool.
Other thoughts? It makes me feel like a gnome when I wear it. I like it.

Looks lovely and you made a great job of the hood. I bet it’ll be something you’ll wear lots!
