This was the first piece I made successfully from a pattern. (McCall’s 5832) The Brooklyn Burda Sewing club did a sew-a-long and this was the dress. It’s stretchy and swings and feels so nice and girly to wear during the dog days of summer.

I wish I could say I have some great secret, but….
The fabric for the bottom stretched out so I just made it fit to the bottom anyway. So if you want that effect, just cut the bottom strip too long.
