My husband and I have been planting lots in our garden recently so it’s quite appropriate that I make a green floral summer dress while everything else is looking very green. This was the second dress I made yesterday, I used a pattern from 1976 that my sewing teacher lent me and omitted the pockets and added a frill at the bottom which I roll hemmed. I added 3 clear green buttons and instead of putting in a zip used shearing elastic on the back piece.
Green floral cotton, white cotton voille for the lining of the skirt and back, shearing elastic
Style pattern from 1976!
