I needed a summer skirt, so I found this nice fabric at my local fabric store and started with my own design. The book SEW WHAT- SKIRTS always helps me by creating skirts, I really can recommend it.
This design is special because the skirt has a normal waistband at the front (first pic), at the back the fabric is gathered because there is the elastic band sewn in (second pic). I worked through this idea on my own, so I’m proud of how nice it turned out. I added a outside pocket, because I need a pocket and it gives an extra design touch, also the ruffles.
It’s really a nice and comfy fitting summer skirt. I already weared it alot and will.
Thanks for my mum for taking pictures with me & her goats. :-))
