Description

My husband and I have been planting lots in our garden recently so it’s quite appropriate that I make a green floral summer dress while everything else is looking very green. This was the second dress I made yesterday, I used a pattern from 1976 that my sewing teacher lent me and omitted the pockets and added a frill at the bottom which I roll hemmed. I added 3 clear green buttons and instead of putting in a zip used shearing elastic on the back piece.

Material Notes

Green floral cotton, white cotton voille for the lining of the skirt and back, shearing elastic

This is adorable and looks great on you! Looks like it will be really comfy for the Summer and the cut is such that there is room to grow ;), congratulations.
