Hmm… while I love this pattern, the fabric I chose was horrible. It was crinkly, rough, scratchy, and stiff. I hated touching it, so you can imagine how I feel about wearing it. I also need to learn more about fit as it just fit very oddly in the bust area. Maybe I should lower the darts? I felt like the darts sat way too high above my breasts and created a very pointy silhouette that was empty (i have a very wide upper torso but very flat as well). It was also way too big for me at first, so i took in the side seams, but then I made it too small. I’ve still got a lot to learn! I liked the large pockets and the way I could play with stripes. I will definitely be remaking this pattern in a different fabric as well as experimenting with the fit. My bra straps are showing but its a perfect dress for holding a dog since I decided that this dress is headed for the recycling bin one day!

It looks lovely on you. Could you try lining it with a soft fabric so its wearable? I did the opposite of this. I bought 3 metres of this hideous blue supposedly jersey fabric online and because I could’nt return it I decided to line a dress with it. Well I can’t wear the dress now lol. I’ll have to change the lining x
