I got a custom order from my doctor for two bags for her daughters. First I started cutting the wrong pattern. But I still had enough to make it work. That’s why the bottom part of the back has the other side of the fabric. I think it looks really nice and you can use either side of the fabric. But then I made the bag too small and I had to buy new fabric and redo it. I still used both sides of the fabric on the final bag.
I put in dark brown quilted lining and the inside pockets are the green fabric. I kept the ribbon I originally bought for the other bag. I still had some of this turquoise ribbon so I used that. I’d bought a bag with assorted buttons the previous week and I found all these buttons to tie everything together.
