This dress resulted from a school assignment, to create an invisible button placket. I fulfilled my obligations, but actually prefer the dress inside-out. (All seams are Hong Kong finished).
Green silk georgette.

I drafted the pattern from my slopers (not super-helpful, I know), but it’s not a difficult pattern to find. It’s a shift dress (with darts for shaping and no waist seam), with a button closure down the front. Most patterns like that have a facing included—I just sewed my dress inside-out!
