Description

These are one of the first sets of pasties I have made, for those that don’t know what they are; they’re nipple covers that come from a burlesque background.
I have never worn them, and probably never will. But they a fun simple thing to make, and I have become a bit addicted.

Material Notes

Felt, fabric (any), fabric glue, all sorts of beads and sequins.

Haha. Pasties always remind me of Robert Redford’s girlfriend in the beginning of “The Sting”. They actually do look addictig to make.

My understanding is that they usually attach with spirit gum (theatrical supply, adhesive made for skin). Who wears them? Show girls, strippers and other ladies who have a reason to conceal nothing but nipple…
