My young cousine graduates from high school today. I’ve made this as a gift for her. I’ve used green stretch twill for the skirt and some vintage fabric for the belt. I think it’ll look cool with a wider belt, too. I’ve used brown piping for the belt loops – just to add a little something.

I think the paperbag skirt is a tricky style to make look professionally made by the home sewist, but you have done a great job! I love the belt and the pleating…and the colour!
