Those of you who follow my blog have seen these pants before. I’ve made these pantalon type trousers last summer, from a green linnen/hemp fabric I bought in Paris. I drew the pattern myself. The front flap is inspired on sailer pants, and continues into the pockets. The flap closes invisibly with hooks on the inside.

Sleek pants, love how you’ve closed the front up without buttons, that’s my number one dislike about other sailor inspired pants. I love the flat front though….great job!

I love these – they look like the sort of thing you’d find in a designer boutique.

Very nice trousers! I’ve been thinking about drafting something sailor-front-like for a while, but I am often put off by sometimes cartoon-y looking many buttons. You’ve given me something else to consider.
Nice picture in front of the Gemeentemuseum by the way ;)

I love your detail for the rear panel and front pocket being one piece. Smart!
