This project has been in progress for AGES… I keep having to put it down to finish something with a shorter deadline. It started as an experiment in bead embroidery and rapidly became a way to prove to myself that I could make something every bit as ornate as the designer costumes coming out of Turkey and Egypt. In these pictures, it is not what I would consider finished. You know how it is, you get impatient and get it ‘done enough’ instead of truly done ;)
