I bought a bunch of fabric and tried to make oven mitts as holiday gifts last fall… but I just couldn’t make it work. This fall, with a year’s sewing experience under my belt, it seems to be working out. Yay! They’re not perfect, but they’re getting better and better.

There are two layers of batting inside (one is heat-resistant) and then they are lined with a solid color, the same color you see around the wrist.
