Description

This is a skirt I made a little while ago. It turned out much girlier than I was expecting. I was going for a simple casual linen skirt, and loved this material. I experimented with a wrap thingy (first pic), but it almost made it worse! It is cut on the bias, and is a half-circle skirt. It’s also too short. I think I’m going to try to alter it once I finish a couple other things I’m working on.

Material Notes

linen, zipper, satin ribbon for waist band

Too bad you don’t like it so much. I think it’s great, great color. I like the strap at the top and I think that just adding a strap of fabric with a wide piece of lace in a similar color at the bottom would be great. It would be as if you’re wearing an underskirt with a lace border underneath.
