This is still the beginning of my sewing experiences and I have never really used any patterns. I started this dress this summer when it was still warm but never finished the corset-like belt that I wanted to hide my tummy until recently. To dress it up a bit and tie in the belt, I added the white trim to the top and bottom edges and some wood emblems to finish the belt.
I’m still new at this and didn’t note exactly what type of fabric this was. I think it is a cotton blend, but defiantly both light weight fabrics with a stiffening material in the belt.
