This is a dress I made from the New look pattern 6723.
It´s not all done yet, gonna take it in a little in the back and put in a new zipper, and also adjust the sleeves and shoulders a little. And sew the belt, for now I only wrapped it around. I was thinking maybe adding a bow on the front of the belt?
I have changed the dress, since the last time I shared it here.
The sleeves were making me unable to move my arms forward, so I decided to cut them out(If somebody got some sleeve problemsolving tips, I would be grateful).
Also I decided to make the skirt slightly shorter, so that it would be more youthful, and casual.
Made it from some cotton I bought on my local IKEA for like 1,6 dollars a meter. :)

Great job! I fell in love with it from the first picture. I guess what I like about it is the fact that you picked a bold color and big squares and used them with a clean-cut pattern. I like this subtlety of your dress. I guess because of this I would prefer to see the dress without a bow, but I’m sure that if you try it, it will look cute too. I just really like the way it is so far! Great job!
