I felt in love with the pattern and the result is not what I wanted. I don’t know why, I tend to choose the worst fabric all the time!! The dress would have been super cute!! But I still love it because I did it and I hope I will have the chance to wear it some day ^^ … With a black vest to avoid looking like a Christmas present !! :P haha
Good point : With a big scarf and a pair of tights, the dress can be wear in winter. I dress for four seasons !!
I used a Cynthia Rowley pattern from Simplicity num. 2305 and I’m love the pattern so much that I’m going to sew everything in it !! :)

I think your dress turned out nicely! I have been a little disappointed with the Cynthia Rowley patterns for Simplicity – I am yet fo find one that didn’t need a lot of modifications to get it to work… So it may be a case of just needing to fiddle with the pattern a bit to get the outcome you are looking for. Fabric will also make a huge difference -maybe try something with a bit more weight next time?
I don’t think you look like a Christmas present either!
Well done – I look forward to seeing all the other lovely things you make from this pattern!
