I love this pattern! getting the waistband right is a little tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it works out fine. I already made another skirt with this pattern!
I used a green cotton, a little heavy. I made it almost entirely according to the instructions. Only thing I changed is the tied ends, I made them a little longer and ending pointy (instead of a straight end) so I can tie them in a knot or a bow. Another variation is to make a (larger) bow at the backside.
