Green Ceylon

Added Jul 2, 2012

by pauline alice

Valencia, Spain

My first Colette pattern and it’s a success. The Ceylon dress has a 1940’s style I really like.
The first time I saw it, I was drawn to the cute sleeves, the front yoke and the 16 buttons to open the dress.
I used again the cotton-linen fabric I’ve used for my last two dresses, it’s great for the hot weather of Spain.
For more details, see my blog.

Material Notes

cotton-linen mix
16 nacre buttons

Spring, Summer
Garment Type
Romantic, Vintage
Cotton, Linen

Ah, those shoes have a lot of success! But they are not so great for walking all day long…

Gracias Merche. Si pensaba que el vestido necesitaba un toque de color.
