Similarly to other Burdastylers – this is my first ever thing I’ve made by myself. The fabric is quite heavy and it stands out but I really like it. I made a simple little brooch to match with offcuts and a black button.
I think it's a drill cotton. I got it from Shepherd's Bush Market.

Perfect fabric for this skirt, power dressing sexy banker for sure! I was just going to make a bright coloured “marie” skirt, but now I’m going to have to look for some stripes!

Thanks! The roll caught my eye in the fabric shop. Makes me think power dressing retro banker. And for some reason I thought that sounded fun.
