Description

Just made this dress, in size 17, based on the #110 dress from the 07/2011 Burda.
I used a heavy cotton, with small stars. no changes, fits perfect.
Happy !

    Hi, you look great in this dress. I am trying my hand on it too. May I ask which part needed interfacing? The instruction said grey shaded areas are to have interfacing, but I can’t seem to locate any grey areas…

      all the facing pieces are interfaced : front facing, back facing, front armhole facing and back armhole facing. and also a small piece of interfacing in the corner, in the middle of the front piece.
      I hope I’ve been clear enough ;-)

    This dress looks fantastic. I’m usually a 16/32.. do you think the 17/34 is true to size? Just wondering if I will need to resize it. Again, your version is perfect :)

      the 17 is perfect for me, and I’m a real 34 ! so yes, I think you’ll have to resize the pattern.

    Wahou elle est géniale. J’avais bien vu le patron, mais parfois on ne sait pas ce que ça pourrait donner avec un autre tissu. Elle est tout simplement simple pas trop chic mais juste ce qu’il faut pour le taf.

      j’avoue que je ne l’avais pas vraiment remarquée non plus… c’est la version de Kokuryu qui m’as mis la puce à l’oreille ;-)
      et comme tu dis, elle est simple et pas trop chic, facilement accessoirisable !

    Je viens de commenter ta robe rose et maintenant je vois celle-ci aussi! Elle te va parfaitement. Je pensais faire ce patron également et tu m’as convaincue. As-tu eu besoin de faire des modifications? En tout cas, j’aime beaucoup ta version, surtout le côté décalé du tissu décontracté avec la forme classique du patron (beaucoup mieux que la version satinée du magazine).

      aucune modification ! (j’ai même fait les parementures, je précise parce que c’est pas souvent ;-))
      je n’ai pas rajouté de marges de couture pour l’ourlet de la jupe, c’est tout. comme je suis vraiment petite…
