The fabric was so thick that I had a hard time to sew.
But I’ve not suffered in vain.
I put a lining over all.

Lovely coat! I’m in the middle of Talea double breasted and I think the instructions are ok if you’re used to working with patterns. If not, it could be a bit confusing. well done again Cajolin!

Very nice! It looks perfect on you. I hope to sew a Talea for next winter, it will be hard, especially because of the thick fabric (i don’t know if my machine can stand it). you did an impressive job, congrats :)

What a great Talea. I suspect the pictures don’t even make it justice. Kora-bean, I’m in the middle of a Talea variation and the instructions are not that bad, really. And if I say that as a beginner, than you should really give it a try :)

This is totally delicious. I have wanted to make this jacket, but have been intimidated by the comments about the instructions being hard to follow. How did you find the instructions? Can I ask you questions if I get stuck? You have done a fabulous job with this coat.
