never been a shorts kind of gal
but this season something changed
and i’m suddenly really into shorts
made quite a few of them past week
in faux leather, wool, brocade, curduroy, even the upholstery fabric
using few different patterns to see which one i like the best
(and, shorts can be made from less than 0.5 m of fabric
so it’s perfect project for getting rid of all the fabric scraps)
this one is made of gray wool, that has some stretch to it
so it’s kind of warm and comfy
i used pattern from burda magazine (october 2010, mod 111a
btw, i think that’s my all time favorite issue of burda
i’ve made almost every item in it)
i inserted side invisivle zipper instead of fly front one
because i prefere invisible zippers everywhere
and skipped the welt back pockets
as i see back pockets unnecessary, so why adding the time of sewing them
pardon the wrinkles.. i haven’t noticed it’s so damn wrinkled, until we were back home
