I absolutely fell in love with this pattern when it was released. Jacket was done by August but it took me until mid-Nov to put on all the buttons (a problem I have with most patterns – final touches).
I really like the fabrics that I used which is probably why I still like the final product. I messed up by not ironing the linen enough before cutting out the pieces so it will never be completely wrinkle-free. Had some problems with the opening on the sleeves but luckily no one looks there. Also, I made things up with the buttonholes…but they work!
Can’t wait to wear it again in the spring!
Outer layer – gray linen
Lining – cream/ivory bottom weight

Looks fabulous!!! How would you rate the sizing for this pattern? Did you cut the pattern according to your measurements and did it actually fit well?

Sizing was right on – I measure as a 38 and cut a 38 as well. The nice thing is that since the front is cross-over you can play around with button placement at the end to make it fit properly. I think I added about an inch to the amount of fabric that is overlapping on the front to tailor it more.
