Wool as always been my favorite fabric to sew, it’s so forgiving. The darts on the Eva Jacket are the craziest I’ve ever seen. It took a few tries but the sides seem to match now. I put a rather heavy interfacing into the collar but used a lighter weight for the sleeve bands and facings. Since my Eva was not in an eye catching plaid I added a little top stitching to the color and pocket flaps.
Gray wool from my grandmother's stash, blue polyester lining.

I like what you’ve done! Can anyone explain the point of the unusual dart? why that little bit at the top? does it really add to shape? should it go beside or above or below the breast?

Looks good, I’m just starting to make mine now, doing a trial run with some old fabric to check for size. The front darts do seem a little crazy and on mine are too low down, trying to figure out how to make them higher!
