Description

This was my Halloween costume for 2009. I was pressed for time and had to whip up something for a party a week before Halloween. I did not do the nicest job, but the wrap covered most of the imperfections. Good enough for a fun evening at the bar!

Material Notes

Some cheap satin material…$2.00 a yard!
Greek looking ribbon sewed to wrap.
McCall’s Pattern M4954…$1.00

Add some grapes and you’ve got yourself a costume :)

Kazoo’s doing well. It sure is COLD though! Did you ever know Linda Winquest? She was one of my Apparel Construction teachers and she was awesome!

Thanks! The best part about this pattern is that there are so many different options with the same dress. I could take off the wrap and add some other details and I’d have a new costume!
