I made this dress out of a bit of the navy fabric which i bought a roll of 10 metres of for £3! As far as patterns go it was just a t-shirt pattern that i lengthened
As the title suggests the dress is trimmed with very vintage lace that i inherited from my Great Grandmother. There have been seamstresses in my family for generations and i also inherited alot of buttons and trims that date back to at least the early 1900’s! Among them are some hook and eye clasps still in their original war time packaging which is amazing :)
So this is a tribute to my ancestors
Vintage Lace from my Grandma’s collection
a button for the front from the same assortment
and navy fabric.. im not sure exactly what it is im afraid :/
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
