Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Using my grandmothers old bedsheet I made another variation of the Port Elizabeth pattern. I was inspired by a dress I saw in a shop to make the collar high and folded with a button. It can also be unbottoned and the collar will fold itself out over the shoulders. I was just a little too eager to get it finished so it’s just a tiny bit too short but otherwise I like it.

What a great little dress! It’s just so inspiring to see someone use something old and give it a second lease of life. Right design choice for your fabric, you have excellent eye for detail, and that collar is simply pretty.

Great dress and I love the fabric! If you think the skirt is too short wear it with leggings or pants as a tunic.
