Here our University Gowns are open and they require some of uniformity for the ladies so we are asked to wear white. Being the rebel that I am, I decided to wear a pant suit instead of a dress (not too fond of them). Browsing through this site i saw the Jocelyn and decided that’s the top i would be wearing.
Since I’m petite i shortened it by 4 inches. I also had a bit of a problem following the instructions for the pleats so i just topstitched along the length of them and Voila.
I was quite pleased with the fit of it (it’s my first time using a Burda Pattern) since most ready-made patterns require a lot of alterations for it to fit me
This linen blend frayed a lot and since i was in a rush did not serge :(
