After getting into sewing my own clothes this past year I was inspired to make my own graduation dress but had a lot of trouble finding a pattern and the right fabric. Luckily I stumbled upon this McCalls 5971. It has a beautiful princess seamed bodice and pleated skirt. I skinny-ed the waistband and used a self drafted cap sleeve but otherwise stuck to the original pattern.
