Tadaa!!! My graduation dress, that I have been dreaming about for 6 months!
This is a complete copycat of juliabobbin’s dress
Well, now that I look at Julia’s dress, I see that her sleeves were less full and shorter, I may like it a bit better… Oh well anyway I loved my dress too.
I made the pattern myself entirely – I never found a tutorial to draft a princess seam dress, so I just tried… And I love the fact that there is no waistline !
Julia did a great tutorial for the sleeves, that I completely followed. The only thing I would have like to know before was how many stripes were needed, so here it is : I used approximately 12 stripes of 1m long per sleeve.
It was not very difficult to make, only long and repetitive.
I also made the clutch after purchasing the clasp and chain online. Not that difficult to make either! I think it is very cute :)
The party was amazing, and I had a wonderful time !
Poplin – 3m
Zipper (invisible, on the side)
