Last year, my aunt bought me some me some material from Joann to make my baby cousin, Grace a duvet and pillow cover. Having completed both project, I was left with an excess of this adorable fabric. The answer as to what to do with it was obvious: a dress for Gracie. The bodice is lined with fabric fom an extra sheet I had. I wish I had pictures of her actually in the dress, alas, my aunt lives forty-five minutes away. this was my first experience with buttons and button holes.
The bodice pattern was created by Lindsay of The Cottage Home which can be found here: http://www.u-createcrafts.com/2010/11/creative-guest-party-dress-by-cottage.html
I drafted the skirt pattern myself
