I made this shirt jacket thing for my good buddy Horace for Halloween, modeled after Ash’s from Pokemon. The basic design is a men’s shirt without buttons and welt pockets added [HELL], a tab for the button, plus about 8 inches taken out at the side seams. For some reason, I loved the added trim, probably because it was perfect the first time I sewed it on. Needless to say, Horace loved it!

Well, you captured the look and seemed to have had fun making it as well! Many of my “FUN” sewing tricks were discovered while making costumes, so take that trim step and integrate it in to other projects. Great job!
