Description

I made this dress last year for Anime North 2007, an annual anime convention in Ontario. I wanted to make an gothic lolita outfit, but my end result turned out a bit different from a classic gothloli outfit. Overall, it still has the gothloli flavour, with lots of black and white and ruffles. Matching handmade umbrella and headdress! No pattern was used to make this.

Material Notes

cotton, ribbon, lace

Thanks to Mishler for all her help with this piece! I couldn’t have done it without her.

i like your dress, and it does have the right flavor, but gothic loli is not all black and white.

your dress looks good on you though. I would love to see you in some colorful loli!

Very, very pretty! I’m not so wonderful with ruffles, or gothloli things in general, but you inspire me to try again! Three cheers!

Well done on the ruffles ! time and effort on an outfit can really pay off in the end ^^ good job you look like a person I would find in the streets of Harajuku, Japan .

    Keep it up .

Respect for doing this without a pattern, great achievement! I’m not such a fan of anime, gothic or the lolita style, but I have to say I really like your outfits. They have style and are very unique! Great job!
