SO, i was TIRED of not finding a decent coat that is small enough for me, i have a small build and i like anything that is “skinny” , and i don’t like wearing womens clothes, so i made this baby right there with some OLD cashmere blend i had
SADLY the 1 and 1/2 yards of this precious fabric had to be cut
and i used black thread for the visible seams and red contrasting thread for the inside of the jacket, this fabric doesnt need to be lined, and it feels preety good lol :D

Its awesome well done mate!! Funny i also made a coat from this fabric but i used a burda magasine pattern not so brave as you. Love the Japanese inspiration, all the guys from that end of the world seem skinny wonder if you could get Japanese mens patterns? If you look on http://www.yesstyle.com/en/men-jackets-blazers/list.html/bcc.11282_bpt.46 they have loads of cool things. I wanna copy lots of these for my skinny younger brother!! Can’t wait for your pattern.

hello max! congrats to your coat. i really love it and i can understand your problem with small sizes too good, as i am not tall and quite skinny too! you made it looking very good and something between elegant yet very uptodate!

Thank u :), and YEAH i know i’ts really frustrating to not find a jacket these days that would fit right, i had two choices, it was either wear a women’s coat, or buy a mens coat that would be huge on me, so i was fearless that day and got creative, luckily it turned out looking like a jacket at the end, it would have really sucked to see this beautiful fabric go to complete waste lol

thank u very much and idk if it’s an original, i got inspired by the asymmetry of Japanese origami art and added goth and military elements :)

Very good looking… just one question, the collar seems to be open or unfishined!?
